The development of “Project Lumens”, the lighting of the Auckland Harbour Bridge, was led by SGL’s Steve Bramley from the outset to the start of the build contract (i.e., from November 2015 to September 2017). The overall process involved a ‘co-design, co-investment, co-delivery’ corporate investment approach. The final funding outcome was a $12 million project with about 80% being met by the corporate partner, Vector. The Harbour Bridge Lighting went live on 27 January 2018.
