OVERVIEW

Gerard has extensive experience in sports administration and sports development, particularly Australian Rules Football. He has 14 years experience as a Senior Executive. He was the inaugural General Manager - Football Operations at Fremantle Football Club and was intimately involved with the planning, setup and operation of the new AFL franchise in WA. Gerard has also coached at many levels. Prior to moving into sports administration he was a full time coach.

More recently, in the last 5 years he was Head Coach of the WA State 18's within the AFL National Talent Program. WA was the National Champions in 2007 and Gerard was appointed All-Australian Coach.

In 2001 he became a founding partner and director of international diagnostic company Perception Mapping Pty Ltd, Gerard has spent the last 7 years assisting organisations around the world to become higher performing.

Much of this time has been spent project managing various culture change and staff development activities. Gerard also has highly developed people skills and has worked with organisations such as BHP Billiton, Texas Instruments, Troika Bank, BGC, CSC, Harvey Norman, RailCorp NSW, John Holland Group plus many local and State Government agencies and departments.

In 2007 he combined his responsibilities with Perception Mapping by joining SGL Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant.
