OVERVIEW

Anne is a Director of SGL Group NZ Ltd and has joined SGL with a strong background in recreation and tourism planning and management, having been involved in a large number of projects in New Zealand as well as several overseas projects.

Anne is able to draw on over twenty years of experience in the recreation, events and sport industries as a practitioner to bring to her consultancy work. This depth of experience from CEO of Touch NZ, Project Manager for APEC Science Ministers Meeting Events; Senior Recreation Officer, Lecturer in Tourism, Recreation and Events has enabled her to understand the organisational issues and provide strategies and solutions which are innovative, practical and implementable. She has a strong interest in research having undertaken research projects in the recreation and events fields.

In both management and governance roles, Anne has been involved in leisure facility management, leisure planning and programming across the recreation, sport and tourism industries but has specialised more recently in event strategy and business planning work, leisure facility design and feasibility analysis and capital funding services.

Anne operates the head office for New Zealand SGL projects.

ATCL Speech and Drama, Trinity College, London
